Position: Hiring on behalf of our client: Business System Manager (CRM)
Location
: Fully onsite in Irvine, CA (potential to go hybrid)
Compensation: $110-125K base salary
Terms: Full-Time, Direct-hire

Partnered with a client looking for a CRM Application Manager to own the strategy, delivery, and day-to-day evolution of the custom CRM (built in PHP/Laravel + React). You'll be the bridge between business teams and multiple outsourced dev partners-driving clarity, prioritizing work, and ensuring the platform runs smoothly and continues to advance.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with users to understand needs and turn them into clear technical requirements
  • Manage the roadmap, backlog, and output of a few external development teams
  • Review delivered work, coordinate releases, and keep projects on track
  • Lead bug triage, testing, and quality checks
  • Maintain documentation, communicate updates, and support user training
  • Provide ongoing visibility to leadership and ensure tight alignment across teams

What Makes You Effective

Not a hands-on engineer, but technically fluent enough to guide smart decisions to own the homegrown CRM:

  • Solid understanding of SQL, database concepts, and web app architecture
  • Familiarity with Laravel, React, API patterns, and deployment workflows
  • Ability to spot realistic AI/automation opportunities within CRM workflows

What You Bring

  • 4-7+ years in technical project/app management
  • Experience coordinating distributed development teams
  • Strong requirement-writing, communication, and prioritization skills
  • Comfort owning a product area without direct reports

Nice to Have

  • DBA exposure, CRM experience, light scripting skills, cloud knowledge, or AI/ML familiarity.
